At Nirvana, we’re always working to deliver smarter, fairer, and more reliable coverage to keep your fleet on the road and your business operating smoothly. That’s why we’ve made major upgrades to our Motor Truck Cargo (MTC) offering; providing more protection with fewer restrictions.
Why we made these changes
Since launching our MTC offering in 2022, we have worked closely with fleets of all sizes to understand what’s working and where we could be better. We heard feedback that at times, our cargo coverage was too limited or didn’t match the realities of todays fleet's day-to-day operation. We listened.
Now, we’ve expanded our cargo coverage to better reflect how you operate and what you haul – with broader coverage, better pricing, and more flexibility for fleets to personalize their coverage.
What's new?
Broader form with fewer exclusions
We removed exclusions that created gaps in coverage: including certain wear-and-tear clauses that didn’t reflect real-world fleet operations. That means less red-tape and more peace of mind if the unexpected happens.
More affordable pricing
Our updated rating model better aligns price with actual risk. Most fleets will see lower rates and more competitive quotes, without sacrificing on coverage quality.
New coverage options
We’re added two important options that give fleets more control over their coverage:
- Cargo at Terminals - Coverage while freight is being loaded, unloaded, or waiting between hauls or recipient signature
- Trailer Interchange - Protection for physical damage to trailers that you don’t own
Higher limits on key coverages
More flexibility for fleets, with $10k, $25k, and $35k options for scenarios like:
- Earned freight charges
- Removal expenses - covering cleanup costs after an incident
- Pollution cleanup - for spills or environmental damage
- Loss mitigation - reloading, salvage, storage
- Miscellaneous equipment
Smarter cargo protection to keep your fleet on the road
Our enhanced MTC coverage delivers value to fleets without the headache of piecing together multiple carriers or policies. Here’s what that looks like in practice:
- Smoother claims across all coverages backed by our in-house team of cargo experts, AI, and telematics
- Minimized out-of-pocket costs with combined deductibles
- Streamlined servicing across billing, policy changes, and support
Flexible, modern cargo protection — built around the way your fleet operates.
